Like a treasure hunt, we search the countryside looking for only the best hand hewn timber. From virgin timber cut by hand over 200 years ago, the logs were squared with nothing more than a broad axe. Once found, we bring the timbers to our yard where a century or more of dirt is cleaned off to reveal an aged patina that only time and Mother Nature could produce.
